Jenny is a born and raised California girl with a passion for art, connection, nature, and collecting vintage things. She started taking photos when her dad gifted her his film camera that he got from my grandfather in high school and she has not put her camera down since. "I am an observer, always looking for quiet moments of connection to document. Making people feel seen and empowered through co-creating art together is what I live for."

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEDDING MEMORY SO FAR?

I shot a wedding at Hayden Lake in Idaho where it ended up pouring all day, but this incredible group of people surrounding the couple pulled through and made the day so beautiful. After the ceremony that last minute had to be moved in doors the rain stopped and every single person there helped wipe down the tables and everything that was set up for the reception. There was so much love and real emotions shown on this day, not a dry eye at this weddin

WHAT IS YOUR AREA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS?

Nature is my happy place and brings me so much peace. Grounding in nature with my love and enjoying home cooked meals is truly all I need to be happy. Having the freedom and time to create and spend quality time with myself and my loved ones is something I am so grateful for.

WHERE ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL HANGOUTS/SECRET SPOTS?

Any day I get to watch the sunset at the beach is a good day, Shaw's cove in Laguna is one of my favorite beaches around. I love exploring downtown Santa Ana for tacos at Bandito Taqueria and seeing a movie at The Frida Cinema, they are always playing new indie movies and old classics. 

WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?

I am booking the next flight to Italy! When I traveled through Europe I excluded Italy so I can plan a full Italy trip. I can't wait to be able to visit soon. I love to travel and always am planning my next adventure or camping trip.

Go-tos

COFFEE

I love exploring and trying new local coffee shops. Whether I am going with friends, or to spend the day there working or reading it's always fun to try new shops. My go to order is usually a iced vanilla latte or cappuccino. 

STATIONARY

Ok I am a big stationary and journal nerd. I love collecting pens, notebooks, and stickers. I seriously couldn't live without my planner. I have multiple journals for different purposes and I will recommend journaling to everyone cause it's been such an amazing tool in my life.

COOKING

I am super passionate about food and creating new things in the kitchen. I was vegan for a long period of time and actually went through a vegan culinary program to explore my love for cooking. It taught me so much and are skills I use daily. One day I dream of creating a cookbook with my own recipes and photos. I have been perfecting making pizza at home, working with dough is one of my favorite things in the kitchen.

YOGA

I started regularly doing yoga a few years ago and it has brought me so much peace and connection to my body, mind, and spirit. I love going to yoga classes, but also practicing at home. 

MY HOME

As much as I love to travel and be outside I am truly at heart a homebody. My home is my safe place and where I like to spend most of my time. My partner and I have intentionally created a beautiful home that we love to be in and I am so grateful for that.

LIVE MUSIC

 I love seeing live music and have been going to shows since I was a young teenager. I am always listening to music and dancing whenever possible. I will absolutely be dancing with you on your wedding day, that is a promise.
